The evidence supporting the link between good acoustic learning environments, improved attainment and well-being is growing by the year. Yet there is still a continued debate about whether the minimal acoustic standards provided in current guidance is adequate with concerns about compliance with Building Control, Premises Regulations and the Equality Act in our schools, colleges and universities.
