The Unseen Health Crisis

Speakers:
Philip Webb

Dejan Mumovic

Venue: Society Building Fitzrovia, 55 Whitfield St, London, W1T 4AH

Time: 7.45 - 10.15am

During the COVID-19 pandemic, air quality rose to the forefront of public conversation. Yet, as attention has shifted elsewhere, the issue of indoor air quality, where we spend around 90% of our time, has slipped from view. Despite this, its impact on health, wellbeing, productivity, and long-term outcomes remains undeniable.

This session brings together leading experts to discuss why maintaining good indoor air quality continues to be a critical challenge, what the latest evidence reveals about indoor pollutants, and how we can design and operate buildings that protect occupants even when outdoor conditions are poor.

Key discussion points include:

• How well is the UK really managing indoor air quality?
• The health, performance, and wellbeing impacts of poor indoor environments
• What the latest research says about key pollutants and exposure risks
• Practical strategies and innovations for improving air quality indoors

Our Standard ticket cost is £30, with Sponsor and Student tickets offered at a reduced price.

Public Sector entry is free and should be booked directly via email.
