RCN About

About Us

The need to provide new housing and maintain and improve our existing stock has never been greater. Whilst there has been an increase in the number of housing completions, this is nowhere near the numbers required and to the levels that were seen after WWII.

The government acknowledges that "continued strong growth in house building will be needed in the years to come to meet the housing needs and ensure market stability".

The Residential Construction Network provides a forum where information about forthcoming bid and tender opportunities can be shared in an open and informal environment at an affordable level and accessible to all without impacting significantly on the working day.

How though do we get to find out about housing and regeneration projects?

Who do we need to speak to?

What do we have to do to get ourselves considered?

The Residential Construction Network is a multidiscipline networking organisation where our members can interact with peers who are working in a relevant sector.

We provide a forum where information about forthcoming bid and tender opportunities can be shared in an open and informal environment at an affordable level, is accessible to all without impacting significantly on the working day.

Attendees at our events include a wide range of disciplines from Clients, Architects, Engineers and Contractors to Developers, Registered providers and local authorities. All share a passion for housing and a desire to seek new opportunities within this sector. With our sister organisations, the Education Construction Network and Healthcare Construction Network, we have a growing membership of over 100 companies registered.

If you are not part of the discussion then there is a chance that potential opportunities will be given to those who are part of the conversation.

Knowledge Sharing

As a knowledge sharing organisation guest speakers will discuss the latest topics that effects the sector and has an impact upon us, such as managing our housing stock, sustainable High Rise Developments and Office to Residential developments.

We have a full programme of events listed for 2016/2017. If you are interested in taking part as a panel speaker or would like to recommend a topic for discussion, please feel free to contact us.

Our breakfast events can count for one hour of CPD.
